Job Description
Summary
Responsible for the multiple functions of institutional master data and related technological process improvements and/or enhancements. Responsible for creating, developing, and managing the institutional master data specifically related to financial transactions. This position is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus.
Job Duties
- Manages and directly oversees the centralized teams responsible for the multiple, complex functions of master data management, master data governance, master data processes, and master data quality.
- Facilitates creation of data strategies and systems across systems that feed financial transactions.
- Advises and consults with entire centralized team of professionals and Finance leaders.
- Serves on Finance project management teams.
- Provides strategic leadership and determines and operationalizes strategic, long-term master data governance service level agreements (SLAs) and metrics for The College.
- Responsible for creating collaborative working relationships with senior leadership and departments and serves as the principal spokesperson from Finance for master data governance.
- Leads related financial projects.
- Coaches, reviews and delegates work to lower level professionals, including Financial Planning and Analysis group.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Fifteen years of directly related experience with five years of supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree and eleven years of directly related experience with five years of supervisory experience will also be considered.
- Experience in healthcare, non-profit, and/or academia
- SAP S/4 HANA
- Power BI
- Data Warehouse
