OVERVIEW
The Department of Operations and Supply Chain Management in the Opus College of Business at the University of St. Thomas, in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota, invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level. Candidates should demonstrate potential for strong research, excellence in teaching, and desire to engage in culturally responsive service activities that demonstrate their commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion. The position begins Fall 2025.



The Operations and Supply Chain Management department at St. Thomas prepares students to make a difference in a company’s bottom line through operational innovation, supply chain management and data analytics. Our experienced faculty members all have significant industry backgrounds and are active researchers in the field today. They prepare students for real-world challenges in the demanding and heavily technical world of operations and supply chain management. The Opus College of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International. QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

A Ph.D. (US or Foreign Equivalent) or alternatively, ABD with a close completion date, in supply chain management, operations management, management science or a related field.
Ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in operations and supply chain management and Business Analytics.
Demonstrated ability and commitment to excellence in teaching.
A strong research agenda with potential to publish high-quality research in peer-reviewed journals.

Demonstrated commitment to providing leadership (in teaching, research, and/or service) toward building an equitable and diverse scholarly environment
Teaching and research interests that complement department and college needs and priorities, including but not limited to statistics and data analytics
