Job Description

Job Overview
Plan, design, evaluate, modify, and coordinate independent programs for the Collaboration for Education and Employment Synergy (CEES) program. This position plays a pivotal role in facilitating the successful transition of students with disabilities from high school to post-secondary education, vocational training, employment, and independent living.

Essential Functions
• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive transition programs tailored to the individual needs of students with disabilities.

• Develop, administer and analyze assessments to identify student’s strengths, preferences, interests and support needs.

• Develop and provide individualized guidance and support to students with intellectual and developmental disabilities in navigating personalized transition planning in collaboration with their families and relevant professionals.

• Interact with staff, faculty, external agencies, other university departments, school administrators, teachers, counselors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with academic standards and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

• Identify and implement evidence-based practices and innovative strategies to enhance transition outcomes for students.

• May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.).

Required Education
Bachelor's Degree.
Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Required Experience
One (1) year of program coordination experience.

Additional Qualifications Considered
Completion of 40 hours of training in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and competency assessment conducted by a qualified supervisor.
Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BCBA).
Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities preferred.
Ability to follow behavior intervention plans and implement behavior management techniques with fidelity.
Proficiency in data collection, documentation, and report writing.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with colleagues and caregivers.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.

The salary range for this position is between $40,000 and $50,000 based on qualifications.
