Qualifications:
ORB 504.01 (formerly ORB 307), Legal Aspects of Business

Spring 10 Week Term 2025

In-Person Thursdays: 4/10 - 6/12, 6:00pm - 10:00pm

Program: Professional MBA

Location: Moraga, CA

Students will be introduced to the legal framework for business and to significant legal issues involved in the conduct of business. Topics include the legal system, forms of business, corporation in law, shareholders’ rights and liabilities, intellectual property, competitive torts and unfair competition, antitrust law, contract law and negotiation, and areas of conduct in which law shapes managerial behavior.

Qualifications:

-Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Organizational Behavior, Management, Leadership, Strategy or a closely related field and a current publication record in the field

Candidates should have a successful record of teaching experience at the undergraduate level and experience/familiarity with online/hybrid instruction in order to prepare for contingencies. This position requires all course work to be performed in the state of California. Candidates must perform all course-related work within the state of California.

The salary range for this position is $7,480 -$10,008 dependent on qualifications. The salary range for this position is covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the College and SEIU, Local 1021, available here.
