Hybrid Modality:

Saturdays in person SMC campus, 10/5, 10/19, 11/2, 11/16, 12/7, 12/14, 1:00PM-5:00PM;

Online Thursdays 10/10-12/12 6:00PM-8:00PM

No Class the Week of Thanksgiving - Nov 25 - Nov 30, 2024

Location: Moraga Campus

Program: MS in Finance

This course is part of the curriculum of the MS in Finance program, and covers concepts and analytical techniques from microeconomics and macroeconomics including market structures, fiscal and monetary policy, international trade, international financial markets, spot and forward exchange rates, interest rate parity and purchasing power parity.

Qualifications:

Candidates must have a Master's or Ph.D. preferred in a relevant area of Economics discipline.

Candidates should have a successful record of teaching experience at the undergraduate level and experience/familiarity with online/hybrid instruction in order to prepare for contingencies. This position requires all course work to be performed in the state of California. Candidates must perform all course-related work within the state of California.

The salary range for this position is $6,480 -$10,008 dependent on qualifications. The salary range for this position is covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the College and SEIU, Local 1021, available here.
