Description:Per course adjunct for the Bachelor of Arts in Leadership and Organizational Studies program's course, SEM 402.

Qualifications:
Seminar 402: Western Traditions I Part A (3 semester units)

This seminar develops the skills of critical thinking, critical reading and writing, and shared inquiry. Learners read, write about, and discuss a selection of texts that have shaped the thoughts and imagination of the Western World, reflecting critically on important ideas and learning to cultivate habits of careful and disciplined reading.

The BALOS Department at Saint Mary’s College seeks to hire a per-course adjunct to teach an upper division seminar course. Candidates should be comfortable in a student-centered teaching environment with an interactive learning style. Work in a highly collaborative and cultural diverse classroom environment. Strong commitment to undergraduate, liberal arts education.aster's Degree in related field

Candidates should also demonstrate a strong commitment to undergraduate, liberal arts education; be comfortable in a student-centered teaching environment with an interactive learning style; comfortably work in a highly collaborative and culturally diverse classroom environment. Strong commitment to undergraduate, liberal arts education. Candidates must reside in California.

Salary: $6,480-$10,308 dependent on qualifications. The salary range for this position is covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the College and SEIU, Local 1021, available here.
