Job Description
The Administrative Assistant for the Master of Science Program in the DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine is responsible for assisting with the admissions process information flow, helping construct and maintain the applicants files, scheduling applicant interviews, creating and analyzing exams, and other duties pertaining to student services as assigned.
Required Qualifications
*High school diploma with some college; transferable experience
in an office situation. Familarity of basic computher software,
such as Excel and Word are necessary.

provide reciprocal assistance to other departments to accomplish overall goals of the Master of Science programs

assist in completion of required institutional and program accreditation reports and other reports necessary for the operation and advancement of the University

attend CRM and WebAdmit/Post/BacCAS recruitment software training sessions.

Attend ExamSoft software training sessions.

stay current with CRM and WebAdmit/Post/BaacCAS software application and functionality.

Stay current with ExamSoft software application and functionality.

respond to telephone and email inquiries regarding the admissions process.

develop and update program catalog and handbook annually.
Job Duty
facilitate the activities of the Master of Science Committees
Job Duty
Coordinate and a schedule mock interviews for MS students
Job Duty
manage MS program budget, including requisition for purchases and p-card reconciliation
Job Duty
develop and coordinate extracurricular learning opportunities such as Lunch and Learning sessions.
Job Duty
direct students to available campus resources based on student needs.
Job Duty
assist with the planning and implementation of on campus events, open houses, orientation, assessment, and graduation activities.
Job Duty
develop and maintain webpage content to support the goals of the pre-professional programs
Job Duty
coordinate and collaborate with admissions personnel, other staff, and faculty of DCOM and CVM.
Job Duty
create course schedule and provide for the registrar
Job Duty
reserve rooms for course offerings.
Job Duty
take minutes at the Graduate council
Job Duty
perform other duties as necessary.
