Job Summary
The Academic Project Manager will coordinate the implementation of the Accounting Area Program, publicity, data collection, reports, and accountability for meeting program objectives and managing more complex academic advising activities. Coordinate retention and student outreach efforts and other projects related to academic initiatives in the area.
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree with five (5) years of experience working with college students in an academic capacity. Directly related academic advising and teaching experience in college or university setting.

Candidates with a degree in accounting and/or CPA License preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
PPA Academic Advising
Monitor Academic Progress for PPA Students
Coordinate and Facilitate PPA Events
Early Identification Initiatives for Prospective PPA Students
Advisor – Accounting Club
CPA Advising
Maintaining/Updating CPA Testing and Licensing Requirements and Communication of Requirements to Students
CPA Mapping Exercise
Manage Excel Certifications through ACCT 3312

Remote Work Notice
A hybrid remote work schedule may be available (currently 1-day remote weekly). Employee must be located within the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex area and have the ability to be on campus for work activities as scheduled and/or with 24-hour notice. Completion and approval of a UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required upon employment, and use of personal computer, internet, and other standard equipment may be required. Remote work arrangements are subject to regular review and re-approval and may be canceled at any time.
