The Business Analytics Department at Saint Mary's College of California invites applications to teach one course for the Spring Term 2025 on Supply Chain Analytics (OPS 529) for the MS in Management and Technology Program.
For many contemporary organizations, managing the supply chain is critical because significant competitive advantages can be gained by effectively working with their suppliers and customers. Recognizing such importance, this course aims to provide you with a broad overview of supply chain management, and equips you with commonly used techniques for analyzing and optimizing a supply chain. Upon completion of this course, you will develop capabilities to make efficient use of resources to create value for the specific organization you will be working. Essential topics include process analysis, forecasting, inventory models, quality management, six-sigma approach, lean systems and sustainability.
Qualifications:
Candidates must have a Master's or Ph.D. preferred in a relevant area of Business Analytics or a closely related field.
Candidates should have a successful record of teaching experience at the undergraduate level and experience/familiarity with online/hybrid instruction in order to prepare for contingencies. This position requires all course work to be performed in the state of California. Candidates must perform all course-related work within the state of California.
