Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Human Resources Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for creating a positive experience for applicants, candidates and hiring managers through administrative excellence. This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills with high attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and prioritize. This position will work closely with a wide variety of college personnel and outside prospective employees and vendors. In addition, this position must be able to interpret and apply federal, state and institutional rules and regulations governing the eligibility of workers.

Serves as the primary point of contact for faculty, staff and grant hiring, including contract support, communication to program assistants, hiring managers and temporary agencies. This position is primarily responsible for full cycle recruitment and is highly customer service focused, and will assist with all facets of hiring faculty, staff and grants). The main areas of responsibility include but are not limited to full cycle recruiting administrative support, screening applicants, search committee assistance, job descriptions and postings, advertisements, offer letters, pre-employment screening, data entry and onboarding.

Main Responsibilities:

Provides a full range of administrative support for hiring managers and serves as the main point of contact for all inquiries related to faculty, staff and grant positions. This involves working closely with internal and external applicants. Reviews, creates, and maintains job descriptions, postings, and advertisements and ensures equitable pay rates. Manages the applicant flow within Taleo and HCM Cloud.
Generates auditing reports and reviews data entries for accuracy.
Works to ensure employment records are suspended and/or terminated in a timely manner. Identifies employment data entry errors, troubleshoots and makes necessary corrections.
Manages the onboarding process for new hires, ensures candidates status updates happen in a timely manner and conducts follow ups post hire. Ensures accurate personnel records.
Identifies process efficiencies and opportunities for improving the applicant and hiring manager experience. Implements policies and procedures that ensures a seamless hiring process that is consistent, fair and equitable. Creates job aids and conducts training for employees on hiring best practices.
Serves as backup for adjunct, temporary and student employment by assisting hiring manager(s) with screening applicants, serving on search committees, and providing guidance throughout the interviewing process. Ensures equitable pay rates, creates offer letters, conducts pre-employment screening and data inputs hires in Taleo and HCM.
Assists with processing Independent Contract Requests. This involves checking eligibility criteria and notifying Finance of eligibility.
Represents the Office of Human Resources and promotes employment during new hire and faculty orientations and career fairs.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor's degree supplemented by a Master's degree in a field related to the position to be filled or equivalency as determined by the appointing authority.

Human Resources certification preferred.
