Summary
Baylor College of Medicine's Hospital-Based Services is currently seeking an Adult Cardiothoracic fellowship trained, qualified, provider for its Division of Anesthesiology. The candidate will have the opportunity to work at the Texas Heart Institute in association with Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center. This facility has the latest available technology for the care of patients with complex cardiac & thoracic procedures, and vascular surgeries including lung, heart, liver, and kidney transplantation.
Job Duties
- This position will provide staffing for our Cardiovascular Operating Rooms
- Provider will have primary direct anesthesia responsibilities for patients in the operating rooms.
- Provider will participate in quality care improvement initiatives.
- Provider will actively participate in Education of all trainees (medical students, residents, SRNAs, and fellows).
Minimum Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine degree with anesthesiology residency.
- Required: Fellowship in CV Anesthesiology from an ACGME accredited fellowship.
- Required: Board certified/eligible in Anesthesiology
- Commitment to clinical excellence and a track record of excellent clinical performance during residency and fellowship.
- Scholarly enthusiasm and commitment to ongoing education.
