Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive candidate to manage key financial operations including accounts receivable, grants billing, and data entry for grants and subcontracting proposals. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial processes related to invoicing, tracking payments, and ensuring compliance with grant terms while maintaining organizational accuracy. Some responsibilities examples include:
  • Accounts Receivable: Manage the accounts receivable process by tracking invoices issued to clients or customers, ensuring timely collection, and following up on overdue accounts. Maintain accurate records of payments and outstanding balances to ensure cash flow.
  • Grants Billing: Prepare and submit invoices for grant-funded projects and track and follow up on payments from funding organizations, and ensuring reimbursement for eligible expenses.
  • Data Entry for Grants: Accurately enter and maintain records of grant-related data, including documentation required for grants management.
  • Subcontracting Agreements: Review and interpret the billing terms as required for each subagreement and maintain proper financial documentation related to subcontracting agreements.
  • Bank Deposits: Process company deposits accurately and ensure timely recording of all deposit-related transactions.
    Qualifications
    • High School diploma with at least three years of relevant experience in accounts receivable, billing, or financial operations. Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, or financial operations, with a focus on invoicing and payment tracking.• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial data.• Strong communication skills for interacting with internal teams, clients, and funding organizations.
