Interim Gift/Data Processor

Reporting to the Executive Director of Advancement Services, this role is responsible for processing contributions and maintaining accurate biographical information within the University Advancement CRM. The position requires extensive data entry and supports the accurate upkeep of highly confidential demographic and financial records for alumni, parents, and friends of the College.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing software is essential. Occasionally, the candidate will contact donors to clarify information or address questions.
This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, with an expectation to be in the office three days per week while having the flexibility to work remotely on other days.
Requirements
Gift Processing - 60%
  • Enter gifts daily into the donor database Bonterra EveryAction.
  • Use reasoning and critical thinking to ensure donor intent for each gift and seek more information if intent is not clear.
  • Perform various reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy of gift entry and donor intent.

Gift Acknowledgement - 20%
  • Prepare, produce, and send customized gift acknowledgments or receipts of gifts received in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with Stewardship to ensure accurate acknowledgement.

Database Maintenance - 15%
  • Process returned mail and update donor records as necessary.
  • Assist in data maintenance and special clean up projects such as donor record duplication, global imports and other needs as they arise.

Donor stewardship - 5%
  • Engage with donors periodically to gain a thorough understanding of their intentions.
