Position Purpose
Assist instructors in all phases of classroom activity, monitor studios and maintain basic studio functionality for SART courses and studios.
Description
Interns assist instructors in all phases of classroom activity; monitor sculpture, printmaking and photo studios; and serve as mentors for Studio Art students. Interns also perform other duties as assigned by the Department Chair, Technical Manager, Exhibition Program Director, and Department Administrator.
Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp Bachelors or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
· Bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College with major or minor in Studio Art.
· Knowledge of the Studio Art Department studios and program.
· Ability to be flexible and learn new skills.
· Strong time management skills.
· Strong organizational skills.
· Excellent computer skills, in both Macintosh and Windows format.
· Ability to work well with a diverse staff, faculty and student body.
· Strong interpersonal skills.
· Commitment to diversity and to serving the needs of a diverse community.
