Summary

The Center for Medical Ethics and Health Policy is seeking an Intern.

Job Purpose

Provides temporary administrative or laboratory support to a department while gaining practical work experience.

Job Duties

  • Helps with recruitment and enrollment for study participants.
  • Assists with qualitative research data coordination and management, for example, contributing to instrument development and refinement, executing data collection, data cleaning and quality control oversight, data analysis, and drafting results reports.
  • Maintainsmanual of procedure for project and oversee study-related documentation.
  • Conducts comprehensive literature searches in the areas of bioethics, social science, health policy and biomedical sciences.
  • Attends project meetings.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in high school or be a high school graduate (or equivalent secondary education) or enrolled in an institution of higher education.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest in bioethics or health policy research.
