Responsibilities
Reporting to the Associate Dean, the Graduate Admissions and Marketing Coordinator provides support in the overall execution of strategy in the areas of admissions/ recruitment and marketing for the Graduate Business Programs in the School of Economics and Business Administration (SEBA).
1. Recruitment and Outreach
Working with the Director of Graduate Admissions, engages in relationship building with prospective students over the phone, in-person, and by email. Represents the institution at graduate fairs and virtual events. Participates and assists in coordinating recruitment and yield activities, including regional receptions; graduate fairs, alumni events, virtual events; application evaluation, and communication initiatives (email, text, phone, social media). Other duties related to recruitment and outreach as assigned.
2. Marketing
Working with the Director of Marketing, assists with event management, virtual programming, delivering presentations, website maintenance, newsletter, flyer and other promotional materials design and editing, social media strategy and posting, and being responsive to needs of prospective students, alumni, staff and faculty. Other duties related to marketing as assigned.
3. Office Management and Operations
Maintain office communications and operations daily. Respond or coordinate responses to phone calls and emails within 1-2 business days. Plan receptions and events for prospective and admitted students and alumni. Evaluate application documents in accordance with institutional policies. Data entry and management of applications and prospective student profiles within the Slate CRM system.
3. Other Duties as Assigned
Organize and analyze student data within the Slate CRM to support recruitment and marketing strategies.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent knowledge, training and experience.
Experience: (years required and applicable field of experience): 1-3 years of work experience in an office setting.
Skills/Abilities: (e.g. computer skills, written & verbal skills, trades, laws, procedures, technical)
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated interest and commitment to the mission and values of Saint Mary's College.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative and manage multiple projects at once
- Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills.
- Strong customer service, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Serve as a resource for campus colleagues and responds to related requests and inquiries from around campus, the office, and division.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
- Contribute to the strategy and production of marketing campaigns and materials for the admissions and marketing teams.
- Assist in creating engaging content and videos for various social media platforms.
- Work with the Marketing Director to plan and schedule social media posts to promote events.
- Manage prospective student outreach and follow-up through the CRM system (Slate). This includes creating and sending email campaigns to prospective and current students.
- Reach out to prospective students via phone calls and text messages.
- Update and maintain website pages via the SMC CMS.
- Host campus tours and represent the institution at events and tabling sessions.
- Up to two weeks of travel per year. Evening and weekend work occasionally required. U.S. driver's license required.

Salary Description $50,000 - $60,000
