Summary

Dr. Kara Marshall in the Neuroscience department has an open position for a Laboratory Assistant. The assistant will aide with lab experiments and basic histology experiments.

Job Duties

Assists with dissections, tissue processing, histology, immunostaining, fluorescence microscopy.
Cleans laboratory equipment.
Participates in journal club.
Assists with organizing lab supplies and equipment and maintains scientific record keeping.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or GED.
Six months of relevant experience.
