Laboratory Assistant
Job Description
Summary
Dr. Kara Marshall in the Neuroscience department has an open position for a Laboratory Assistant. The assistant will aide with lab experiments and basic histology experiments.
Job Duties
- Assists with dissections, tissue processing, histology, immunostaining, fluorescence microscopy.
 - Cleans laboratory equipment.
 - Participates in journal club.
 - Assists with organizing lab supplies and equipment and maintains scientific record keeping.
 - Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
 
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
 - Six months of relevant experience.
