ORGANIZATIONAL SUMMARY:
The Muma College of Business has one of America's best accounting schools, a top ranked entrepreneurship center, a nationally ranked MBA program, and world-class research faculty. The Muma College of Business provides a high quality, diverse learning environment preparing students to take leading positions in business and society.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is to support our fast-growing Global Online Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Business Analytics program. The program currently has approximately 50 students and expects to grow to 80 in the next 18 months. The program is modeled after successful Executive MBA programs and there is a high degree of concierge-type service provided. This role is required to manage all aspects of the prospect, student and alumni experience in collaboration with the faculty program director.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure program prerequisites are met by incoming and continuing students, track student progress. Collaborate with program director and department director to address student concerns. Assist with semester courses, registration, wait-lists, permits. Assist with graduation applications, criteria and certify diplomas. Resolve admission challenges with internal and external stakeholders.
Assist with, but not limited to, management through the Canvas page, about program classes, surveys, graduation, during office hours and via email. Respond to applicant email, hold new student information sessions in person and Online forums.
Accurately manage and track all program-related records including but not limited to establishing and maintaining a database of all current students and alumni to be verified when requested no less than annually. Maintain historical program, student, class data, and perform analysis as needed.
Maintain strong and mutually beneficial working relationships with personnel in each department. Coordinate with the Academic Advisors and Director of the on-campus M.S. BAIS program. Participate in the marketing efforts for the program. Review and provide project management for updates to the program's website. Execution of events/meetings, including attending two events per month held off-campus in the Tampa/St. Pete region, held in the evenings and occasionally on weekends.
Develop and implement new initiatives to improve the recruitment process and the student and prospect experience. Build and maintain a program calendar that includes all recurring weekly, monthly, semester and annual activities required to successfully manage the program. Develop dashboard reporting and work with the director of the GBAIS program to identify KPIs.
Performs other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM:
This position requires a Master’s degree in education or a field of study related to the academic program, or a Bachelor’s degree in those same fields with a minimum of two years of experience.
FLSB1310 Equivalency:
4 years of directly relevant experience may be substituted for bachelor's degree.
6 years of directly relevant experience may be substituted for master's degree.
PREFERRED:
This role requires an experienced person that has experience interacting with people on a regular basis, including in situations where they have tight deadlines and service levels to maintain. A minimum of five years of work experience is preferred.
